Archer & Partners deals with Polegate, Wannock, Willingdon/Ratton, Stone Cross, Stud Farm, Lower Willingdon and surrounding areas, including Hampden Park and local villages.

There are various estates. To the north of Station Road/Pevensey Road are mainly semi-detached bungalows built from the mid 1960's. There is the Southlands estate which was built around the 1930's. Central to Polegate are mainly older houses. Between the railway line and Eastbourne Road are a mixture of houses and bungalows and Heron Ridge, which was built around 1988. Close to Polegate High Street are various purpose built flats.

This estate was built in the 1930's adjacent to the local horse stud farm, consisting of semi and detached bungalows, some of which back onto the stud farm itself as well as farmland with downland views. The roads are named after famous race horses of the day.

Adjacent to the South Downs and farmland, this area has a variety of houses and bungalows. There are some larger family homes and quiet cul-de-sacs.

West of the Eastbourne Road there is a variety of semi and detached bungalows as well as larger family homes. There are shopping facilities at Willingdon Triangle and some purpose built blocks of flats. East of the Eastbourne Road is a modern estate called Hamlands and this consists of mainly bungalows and houses. Local shops are situated at Freshwater Square.

This is a large new development area, mainly constructed since 1998 comprising a variety of family houses.

West of Eastbourne Road are established detached houses and bungalows within quiet areas adjacent to the South Downs. To the east of the A22 are more residential estates towards Hampden Park.

Comprises all the usual shopping facilities. There are also two medical centres, dentist, banks and post office. The mainline railway station connects with Eastbourne, Brighton and London-Victoria.

Stagecoach and Eastbourne Buses provide services to and from Eastbourne and surrounding areas regularly. There are also two community bus services on Thursdays, one serving Jevington, Wannock, Polegate, Lower Willingdon, District General Hospital and Eastbourne, the other serving Stud Farm, various districts of Polegate, Stone Cross, Langney and Eastbourne.

Situated in Windsor Way, Polegate. The community centre provides various clubs and interests and also based here is the Polegate Drama Society which, throughout the year, produces many plays and is famous locally for the popular annual pantomime.

The coastal town of Eastbourne is approximately six miles south of Polegate with a more comprehensive range of shopping facilities (including Tesco, Sainsbury, Safeway, and Asda), restaurants, theatres and seafront. There is the new marina development and one of the south coast's most popular tourist attractions - Beachy Head. There are all types of schools and colleges. Eastbourne also has four golf courses and there are fitness and leisure centres.

From Polegate is the Cuckoo Trail walk and cycling route. This was once a railway line and passes through Hailsham, Horam, and finishes at Heathfield. At Jevington Road, Wannock there is access onto the picturesque South Downs, having outstanding panoramic views.
